Can I order samples before buying?
Yes, you sure can! The samples are 100x100mm in size and generally take a couple of days to arrive if it's a stocked item.
What is batch, or shade, variation?
Batch, or shade, variation can occur in all types of kiln-fired clay products including tiles. Consequently, each production run of tiles is given a shade number. This number is printed on the outside of the carton and should be recorded in case additional tiles are required later.
What's the difference between a floor and wall tile?
A floor tile can be used on both floor and walls, whereas a wall tile can only be used on the wall. This is generally because the floor tiles are thicker and more durable, while wall tiles are thinner. In some cases the finish on the tile may also be an influencing factor.
When should I book my tiler to start?
Generally speaking, iIt is best to book your tiler to arrive for the installation the morning after the delivery is booked to arrive at your project address. Reason being, the delivery can arrive anytime up to 6pm on the day of delivery.
What tiles can i use for a splashback?
you can use most tiles for a splashback. However, it worth considering the texture and cleaning ability, any small areas(such as under a window), and where the grout lines will fall.
Do I need to seal my tiles?
You do not need to seal glazed tiles. It is a good idea to seal full bodied tiles without a glaze and natural stone. Sealing the grout is also recommended.
How long does it take to order the tiles in?
Once we received the order. We will prepare the tiles for you by the second day, and will despatch by the day following.
Can you come and lay them for me?

what is the difference between rectified and non-rectified tiles?
Rectified tiles are cut to size and have a straighter edge. These are more true to size (.5mm variation). Cushion edge tiles (pressed tiles) are made out of a mold and can vary a number of millimeters. To account for this wider grout joints are required to allow room for adjustments when laying.
Why do tile prices vary so much?
There are many factors that affect costings of tiles. They can be the materials are used, the quality of the glaze, the size of the tiles, the country of manufacture, whether it is rectified, and heaps more. We are confident our product's quality is unbeatable in the same price range.
What if I want to return part, or all, of my order?
If you have additional tiles left over after the installation we recommend you keep these for future maintenance purposes, as you may not be able to buy the same shade/batch again.
